Industrial Day
September 15 2022
To strengthen the interaction between the maritime industry and academia, the 14th IFAC CAMS promotes an industrial day as an integral part of the technical program. On September 15 2022 the conference will offer two industrial plenary talks and two industrial sessions addressing the topics of decarbonization and autonomous marine robotics. The two industrial sessions will be run in parallel.

Marine Surface and Aerial Robots: past, present and future
Plenary talk by Stephanie Kemna - Maritime Robotics
13:50 - 14:50
Maritime Robotics develops innovative solutions for maritime data acquisition, including uncrewed surface vehicles (USV) and uncrewed aerial systems (UAS). In 2011, Maritime Robotics built and commissioned their first USV. Since then, many smaller USVs sold wordwide, as the global USV market grew. In this talk, we look back at accomplishments so far and look forward at where industry and research are moving towards. We highlight some recent projects and new markets and discuss challenges ahead.
